Backend Engineer · Django · Security-Aware Systems

I build clean, robust APIs and backend systems with Django. Studying networking & ethical hacking on the side — because the best backend engineers understand how their systems get broken.

01 — About

A little about me

I'm David Akaluzia, a backend developer who cares deeply about how software is structured under the hood. My primary stack is Python, Django, and Django REST Framework — and I've used it to build everything from payment systems to real-time messaging backends.

Alongside development, I'm actively studying networking, ethical hacking, and application security. That background shapes how I write code — I think about attack surfaces, not just feature surfaces.

My goal is a role at the crossover between backend engineering and security: building systems that ship fast and hold up under pressure.

Let's work together

I'm actively looking for backend developer roles — remote or local. If you're building something interesting and need a security-minded engineer, I'd love to hear about it.
